In this star-studded horror short movie, “The Black Ghiandola” from the Make A Film Foundation, Jacob is held up in his house after a zombie outbreak caused by a virus of the adrenal gland. When a girl shows up seeking his help, Jacob must stand his ground against her pursuers.
About Make A Film Foundation:
The foundation was founded by Writer/Director Tamika Lamison in 2006. The goal is to help children and teens who have serious or life-threatening conditions create a film legacy with the help of Hollywood’s biggest talent.
This short film was very special to watch. The story is well done and the terror and fun are all on par with a feature-length film.
“The Black Ghiandola” was written by and stars 16-year-old Anthony Conti, who suffered from stage 4 Cortical Cancer. Also, starring, Johnny Depp, David Lynch, J.K. Simmons, Laura Dern, and Trent Rezner did the musical score!
