About the Filmmaker

Buğra Mert Alkayalar was born on June 5, 1998 in Turkey. Due to his passion for cinema at a young age, in particular the horror-thriller genre, he started studying at the Department of Cinema and Television at Anadolu University in 2016. During his four years of formal education, he wrote and directed many short films. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Cinema and Television at Anadolu University. He also works as a research assistant at the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at T.C. Istanbul Kültür University. Alkayalar continues his independent filmmaking in the process and also does voice-over work, editing, and screenwriting.
