First and foremost, have you seen the 2007 Horror Anthology film, “Trick ‘r Treat“? If you have not, go watch it immediately! After you read this, of course. Directed by Michael Dougherty (Krampus, Godzilla: King of Monsters) “Trick ‘r Treat” perfectly weaves together five major storylines seamlessly with a brutal and magnificent end on Halloween night. The film stars some familiar names including, Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, Dylan Baker, and Leslie Bibb. The film makes no apologizes for its graphic tone and nature and has gained quite a cult following after its release.
The creator Michael Dougherty made a series of horror short movies based in the same world of “Trick ‘r Treat“ and they mostly involve everyone’s favorite burlap sack-headed “child”, Sam. Enjoy the terrifying ride!
