Featured Female Horror Filmmaker: Amanda Gecewicz
At Married to Horror, we love to feature diverse filmmakers and artists. The horror genre, in general, is very male-driven. So, we get excited when we see a female filmmaker that’s doing some really exciting work. Up-and-coming director Amanda Gecewicz currently has some pretty great horror short films under her belt.
Check out our favorite horror short of her’s here, “Night Wanderer.” A young woman alone is given a strange birthday gift. Suddenly, she’s plagued with strange occurrences and terror at every turn. This horror short film is beautifully shot, acted, and is very successful in building suspense!
