Featured Horror Illustrator:
Travis Falligant

We found Travis Falligant aka IBTrav on Instagram. A mutual friend and lover of the film “Blood Rage” turned us onto him. Falligant is an incredibly talented horror artist that uses vibrant colors in his pieces depicting horror classic films and icons.

Where to find the artist:

If you like what you see, you can follow @IBTrav on Instagram. He also has a fun tongue-in-cheek illustration series called “Horror Babies” which you can find on his Instagram. Check out his Etsy store where you can buy prints, stickers, magnets, and more!

We love his work! Take a look at some of our favorite pieces of Travis Falligant here!

Who doesn’t love The Lost Boys? These are incredible illustrations of Alex Winter
and Keifer Sutherland.

Like I’m sure many of you out there, I’m a huge Scream fan. Love this fun comic-style homage to the Scream franchise. These are available in his Esty store now!

What a beautiful ode to the remarkable icon Cassandra Peterson as Elvira. She is and will always be a horror staple and beloved by so many. All hail Elvira!

I’m not sure how many of you have seen The Final Girls but this is an illustration of Malin Akerman in the climax of the film. So wonderfully done. It literally looks just like her and if you have not seen The Final Girls you need to! It’s fun, scary, meta, and is just so good. Literally, do it today. It’s available for streaming rental and will most definitely become a cult classic.

I put these four badass women of horror together because they’re just so iconic. Radiant illustrations of these ladies! From left to right: Fairuza Balk as Nancy in The Craft, Sigourney Weaver as Dana/Zuul in Ghostbusters, Betsy Palmer as Mrs. Pamela Voorhees in Friday the 13th (This one is so creepy. It feels like she’s looking deep into your soul!), and Gloria Charles as Fox in Friday the 13th: Part III. R.I.P Betsy and Gloria!

Here we are, the reason we found Travis Falligant and his work to begin with. This piece is Mark Soper in the amazing 80s horror film Blood Rage. If you haven’t seen it definitely have a watch, or two, or three! P.S. The above-depicted line is one of my favorite moments from the movie. “It’s not cranberry sauce.” LOL! OMG, it’s so good, so cheesy, and so messed up in all the best ways!

Saving one of my favorites for last. Bill Skarsgård’s rendition of Pennywise from IT is such an iconic and terrifying horror character and Travis Falligant created this piece with care. Although, I still have an affinity for the 1990 television miniseries IT with Tim Curry as Pennywise, however, this version just killed it in the costume and makeup department and Skarsgård was just utterly frightening. Pennywise’s dead eyes and smirk depicted here are enough to keep you up at night…for real. I’m not sure I’m going to get much sleep.
