Horror Horoscope: What Final Girl Are You?

What are final girls? If you’re here most likely you already know but just in case… by definition, the final girl is a popular trope in horror films that describes the last girl(s) or woman alive to stand up to and ward off the killer, and typically the remaining victim to tell the tale. Often, final girls live throughout a franchise such as Sidney Prescott in Scream but sometimes a final girl will be the first to die in the sequel like Alice in Friday the 13th Part 2!

We all have a final girl in us. What skills do you have to survive? Use this handy list to find your “Final Girl” spirit according to your birth month! Some of these final girls return in multiple films but we’re just listing the first time they make an appearance. I am a Laurie Strode with a Suzy Bannion cusp. 🔪
